Last night we were given the award at the GSB LaunchPad competition. The award recognizes Invisible Intelligence as the 2014 LaunchPad Semifinalist for using technological innovation as the basis for creating a new business in Maine. The award will provide $5,000 in services from MTI and various partners including the University of Maine Center for Entrepreneurial Development, and the Maine Business Incubation System. We will also receive a two-hour coaching session to discuss future funding options.

We are grateful to have been selected for the award and look forward to working with MTI and their partners. We also want to thank everyone who supported us in the LaunchPad competition. We appreciate you all. Below is a picture of the award.

They are providing the full reimbursement because of the important safety benefits along with the accurate operational counts that the system provides. The operational count software, which is part of the complete system, will easily allow airports to collect and send monthly and yearly operational counts to the State.

Their goal is to have the system installed at all of the Maine NPIAS airports to help improve the overall safety of Maine's Aviation System while also helping to gather more complete and accurate data regarding operations.

With almost 80,000 takeoffs and landings per year, Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport is inundated with radio traffic. But the airport lacked a system to record radio transmissions, which was not a federal requirement.
