With almost 80,000 takeoffs and landings per year, Sanford Seacoast Regional Airport is inundated with radio traffic. But the airport lacked a system to record radio transmissions, which was not a federal requirement.
Now, recently installed, Maine-made software improves the airport’s ability to log, categorize and analyze all airport-related radio transmissions. The upgrade can aid training, accident avoidance, and compilation of reports for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). >>> Read Full Article
